The Origin Story
I found BBQ when the world stopped. During COVID, I needed something to focus on — something that would drown out the noise and give my brain a single, burning point of attention. I found smoke, fire and an endless supply of BBQ videos. What started as a distraction quickly became an obsession. My first kamado was a reward from my wife for facing a fear of injections and getting my jab.
It was supposed to be a reward. It turned out to be a launchpad. Since then, I’ve been chasing better BBQ — feeding friends and family, tweaking recipes, learning the craft. They kept telling me the same thing: you should sell this. Eventually, I listened.
Meateor BBQ is where all that obsession lands. Proper smoked meat, bold flavours, and food made to be passed around a table — whether it’s a pub takeover, a market stall, or a backyard pop-up.
